Disney's Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World

The Animal Kingdom has been one of the most distinct theme parks in the Disneyland World resorts. It gives everyone the opportunity not only to learn about the variety of species but how to protect and save them from their own extinction. Here are some the other reasons on why you should visit the Animal Kingdom:

The Walking tours and Safari Rides - Only a handful of zoos can give you some of the most exotic animals that you can ever find in this planet. Here at this theme park you can witness, and even be up close to touch this wonderful creatures. Of course one of the clincher attractions is having an African like safari in Orlando. You don't have to go all the way to Kenya or South Africa just to view some lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, it's all right here in the Animal Kingdom theme park.

From crazy roller coasters to wicked rapid rides - Yes, not all in this theme park is about the animals. There are some awesome rides like Expedition Everest that would give you the roller coaster thrill that most can be seen in Hollywood Studios and The Magic Kingdom. The Kali River Rapids is about getting a feel of going white water rafting in the Colorado rapids. Definitely these two attractions are a must for thrill seekers to provide more action in your theme park visit.

For the Dinosaur Junkies - The Dino land USA area is perfect for everyone who is into dinosaurs. From replicas of actual Dinosaurs, dinosaur fossils, to even having a Jurassic Park type of an adventure, you can see how these prehistoric creatures came about and made a civilization out of it.

It's all about conservation education - Like what I have mentioned awhile ago, the Rafiki's Planet Watch area gives them the opportunity to properly educate all Animal Kingdom visitors about the environment. Through their exhibits and their hands-on sections of the area, it shows that Walt Disney had a deep affection and concern for Mother Nature.

It's all about Entertainment - Where you can find two Broadway type musicals in one theme park? Of course here in the Animal Kingdom, The Lion King and Finding Nemo shows are a must see as they give joy and fun to all visitors of different ages.
